VSI is all about “A better way to bare pavement”. We sell liquid deicing equipment and live edge snow plows. Equipment to fit one-man operations to entire fleets in multiple cities and market regions. We’re here to see our customers succeed in an industry we’ll change together.

One major differentiator for VSI is that we truly know and understand the processes behind the products we sell. This is because we are born from our snow and ice contracting company and actually have used these products and processes in the real world for over 10 years.

I started mowing lawns and doing other odd jobs as a kid, then got into landscaping/hardscaping while attending college. After graduating college I couldn’t imagine working for anyone but myself so I continued on with the Landscape/Snow business and VSI was born from that in 2014. We operate both businesses independantly still today.

Use LinkedIn, Facebook and other networking groups or opportunities to meet and interact with other business owners both in and outside of your industry. Learning from other people’s successes and mistakes is one of the most impactful and valuable things you can do.

Trial and error is an expensive approach to running a business. Not that you will never make errors when you learn from and emulate others, but you will make less, because more than likely they have already learned from expensive mistakes.
